Jean Farrington
Over the course of her career, Jean Farrington has been an academic librarian, a development officer and a museum educator.
Currently, she coordinates a wide spectrum of lifelong learning opportunities at the California Academy of Sciences where she is associate director of public programs. A transplant from the east coast (Philadelphia area), Jean loves cities and is often awed by the sheer beauty of San Francisco.
She is an avid fiction reader who keeps up with the latest science through the New York Times’ Science Times and Scientific American. In her spare time she also enjoys concerts and theater, cooking, travel, and good food of all kinds.
