Bayview Essay Contest Winner: Nathan F., Fifth Grade
The new Bayview Library will help different cultures coexist. There are so many cultures in the Bayview community; the library could become a place for cultures to learn about each other, as well as a place for students to do their homework with their families and read new and interesting books.
First, the new Bayview Library will help provide new books for little children. I believe these new books will represent different cultures. An African-American boy may want to read a book about an Asian-American family. A Latino girl may want to read about her Latin countries. The new library will allow for children and their families to visit anywhere in the world, through a book.
In conclusion, the new Bayview Library will help so many children and their families find, read, and learn about other culture that the library will become place for students to do their homework with their families and read new and interesting books.
