Weekend Kid Event Roundup

This weekend, the San Francisco Public Library is the place to be for awesome and fun children’s events!

On Saturday, October 22nd, come on down to the Main Library for  Family Storytime at 10:30 a.m. and stick around as the Tricycle Music Festival presents the Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band! Join the fun as they play get-up-and-dance music that’ll make groovin’ behoovin’!

Not near the Main Library and still want to get down?  There’s another Tricycle concert  with Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band at the Bernal Branch at 3 p.m.

Then on Sunday,  boogie down to the Mission Branch Library with your bike, skates, and scooters for the Tricycle Music Festival Grand Finale.

Held in conjunction with Sunday Streets and the American Sabor: Latinos in U.S. Popular Music exhibition, check out tunes for the little ones from Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, The Time Outs and San Francisco Rock Project.  The fun starts at 11:30 a.m., with rockin’ & rollin’ until 1:30 p.m.

And when you’re done at rocking out, head over to the Main for a make your own mail art postcards event with local artist Jane R. Willson from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

It’s a event packed, rockin’ weekend at the SFPL!
